Since the 1950s, the Jahalin Bedouin have lived in the desert valleys between Jerusalem and Jericho, rearing sheep and goast for their livelihood. But in the mid 1990s, a decision by the Israeli government to expand the settlement of Ma'ale Adumim resulted in a series of evictions wich threatened to displace the 3000 strong tribe from their desert home and destroy their tradicional way of life. This is the story of their struggle to remain on their land.
